The Sanctuary relies on the help of volunteers and offers a variety of opportunities around the state.  The largest concentration of volunteers assist with the Sanctuary Education Center located in Kīhei, Maui

In addition, the Sanctuary Advisory Council (statewide) allows the community to get involved in the management of the Sanctuary.
