Attend a special workshop to learn how you can safely and legally operate your vessel during whale season. As many as 10,000 humpback whales are in Hawaiian waters every year from November through May. These acrobatic, 45-ton marine mammals delight wildlife enthusiasts, but can pose safety hazards for boaters and other ocean users. Vessel-whale collisions occur every year in Hawai‘i and are a serious risk to boaters and whales. We have new and more detailed information to share this year, so even if you’ve attended previous workshops, please join us this year!
