Site Characterization Study, 1994

Description: In 1993, the Sanctuary and Reserves Division (SRD) of NOAA, requested the University of Hawaii Sea Grant Extension Service to conduct a Site Characterization Study of the congressionally designated Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary. The purpose of the Site Characterization Study was to gather the most recent and substantive information available concerning existing resources in the designated area.
